Wave mounting system

This mounting system is specially designed for PV projects on large flat roofs and for the use of larger solar panels. Assembled, screwless and long-sided clamping are some of the unique features that make this system so suitable for large projects with longer panels.

Flexible and easy installation

With the assembled modules, installing large fields is very easy. Align and fold out the base units, click the high base elements and stabilizers and mount the solar panel, without screws and tools, with the unique panel lock.

Wave Dual Unit 2P

The assembled units are quick and easy to install. Long-sided clamping gives maximum support to the panels and with the patented clamping system screws are no longer necessary. Max. panel width: 1150mm. Max. panel length: 2500 mm.

Stabilizer

The stabilizers ensure a strong horizontal and vertical connection. Ballast can be determined more accurately and precisely and the rigidity of the system allows fields of up to 40 by 40 meters to be laid easily and quickly. The stabilizers also ensure a simple way of cable management.

Wind deflectors

The Wave wind deflectors ensure optimum aerodynamics on the roof, where the wind is directed in such a way that the system is pressed onto the roof. This can save a lot of ballast.

Ballast options

Every project and every roof is different. Think of the roof construction or the roof skin. And that requires different possibilities to be able to safely place ballast in the system. Wave has different options to enable you to place ballast very precisely.

Single configuration

Single (South) for maximum electricity yield in the afternoon hours

Wave Single Unit 1P -3P

For the single (south) configuration we have assembled base units for 1 panel or for 3 panels. Just like the dual units these are quick and easy to install, the panels are clamped on the long side, without screws. Max. width panels: 1150mm. Max. length panels: 2500 mm.

Wave has different options to be able to place ballast very precisely. With the single unit we have a perimeter ballast rack for an even more precise distribution of the ballast.

Roof and building safety

Our system protects the roof and everything underneath:

  • The roof supports under the assembled modules ensure that the system is 37 mm from the roof skin and that water is not retained.
  • Optionally, protective mats can be placed under the roof supports, for extra friction and/or for extra protection of the roof skin
  • If desired or required by regulations to connect a PV system to a lightning protection system, we have developed a number of components that make this easily possible.
  • Optimized (point) loads (?)
  • Because the system is assembled and no screws are required for installation, we minimize the chance of roof damage caused by screws that can accidentally be run into the roof skin.
  • The way in which the ballast is determined and calculated has been assessed and certified by an independent expert (Peutz). In accordance with the latest standards, of course.

Maximum electricity production

The Wave mounting system has no negative effect on the ability of the solar panels to produce electrons:

  • By clamping long panels on the long side, we give the panel maximum support and minimize the chance of the panel bending and becoming damaged.
  • By mounting the panel without screws, we eliminate the risk of the panel being damaged when screwed in due to an excessively high tightening torque.
  • The tier-1 panel manufacturers have endorsed the advantages of our patented clamping mechanism by means of approval letters.
  • The design of the Wave mounting system with the openings at the side plates and the back plate ensures that the air can circulate well under the system. This prevents excessive heat build-up under the panels.

Durability

The Wave mounting system ensures that your solar panels will continue to perform safely on your roof for more than 20 years.

  • The Wave mounting system has been extensively tested and certified (according to the latest and strictest standards) to be able to continue to function in the most extreme weather conditions. Think of CFD tests, wind tunnel tests and lift tests.
  • All components have been extensively tested for quality and interference. Think of corrosion tests, fire safety, platicizer migration, etc.
  • With the exception of the roof supports (polypropylene), all components are produced with Magnelis steel, making them suitable for use in corrosion class 4.
  • Our team of experts will assist you immediately if a problem does occur, during installation and long afterwards.
  • Low life cycle costs with the Wave mounting system. No labor-intensive maintenance required because there are no clamps that need to be tightened every so often.
